Juicy has created a whole world for you to be lost in. Juicy were asked to extend the existing successful laneway direction at Bankstown Sports Club. This concept presents this new area much like a busy night market or town square enabling us to design multiple shopfronts with various personalities to differentiate them from the existing Noodle House area whilst keeping the space intriguing and exciting for the public.
Operationally there is a single food source, but with some intelligent architectural and signage applications multiple vendors will be presented to the patrons as part of an old market place – ‘Peking Square.’
Built around a traditional Chinese Tea house this old marketplace is home to multiple private dining areas and an in house Peking Duck oven. Sit amongst boxes of toad feet, dried turtle shell and dragon teeth in our old-worldy Chinese medicine emporium or perhaps you’d prefer to dine with the opium underworld at Hong’s Den.
In Peking Square it is always night time. It feels alive, eclectic and colourful with multiple finishes and features on floor, walls and ceilings. The square is weathered and worn with many different and varied architectural forms constructed through the ages. The furniture used will be varied and tightly arranged, much like a market place.
